DEFINE: "RISK"
... a situation involving exposure to danger , harm, or loss. I was editor of the RISK AFRICA print magazine, app and events supplements from December 2017 until May 2018, following the capable editorship of Sven Hugo. Content written, curated and commissioned was aimed at the insurance market, particularly brokers, in an attempt to assist them with the reasons their clients should be insuring things – cars, art works, lives, estates and so on. During this time, we faced one of the most severe droughts in living history within the Western Cape province of South Africa, and hosted an event for Insurance and Tourism at the River Club, Cape Town, in order for these two economic sectors to effectively collaborate.
